In 2005 my friend and I were out getting a bite to eat, (at the EVOS on 4th) when a guy came up to me, pointed at my t-shirt and said he had heard about The Artillery, then asked what we were doing for lunch. He asked us to have lunch with him at the shuffleboard club.  
Meeting Chris Kelly that day lead to a collaboration that changed the future of the shuffleboard club and all those involved. 19 years later it's still going strong and this year (2024) is the club's 100th anniversary.
