Our first of many Bluelucy open house art parties. It was a fun show, I remember someone put a penny in our garbage disposal and broke it and then some other mystery person literally broke our toilet - like the bowl was broken in half laying on the floor - LOL!!!!!! But there was something truly awesome that happened this night. A young lady (like 13 or 14) who had seen our art, she saved her money and came to this show to buy her very first piece of art. The interaction with her changed me forever. Art can be lots of things, for her it was inspiration, joy and hope. It was seriously cool.
